Famous Quote:
“Tis better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all.” ~ Tennyson
Obscure Quote:
“Tis better to have loved, had love requited, harkened to volumes written about your charms, fair heart, and abounding beauty, and be positively ill from the number of chocolates you are continually proffered and encouraged to enjoy. But feel free to form your own opinion.” ~ Robynn

There comes a time when chocolates are the truest form of love.
ReplyDeleteI could go for a chocolate right now.
ReplyDeleteTuesday's Tales #1 - John
An RR strength? She says is SOOO well.
ReplyDelete:-)
p.s. You ought to be a Hallmark card writer.
amen sister!
ReplyDeleteLOL I like yours better. After playing racketball with Jon last night, I'm going to add, love so much that you've peed your pants with laughter. Not that I peed...it was close though.
ReplyDeleteLove and chocolates - that is TRUE pure love! ;-)
ReplyDeleteI bought those Lindt truffles for the kiddies and hubby and I finished them up. Oh they are so good!!! Chocolate is a very special love amongst loves.
ReplyDeleteA balanced diet is a chocolate in each hand. Well worded your 'quote' it is.
ReplyDeleteLoving/losing vs chocolate .. seems like a no brainer to moi
ReplyDeleteOh you have no idea how much I always enjoy your observational tweets! Smiles and sunshine to you:)
ReplyDeleteI'm with the obscure quote on this one. Where's my chocolate?
ReplyDeleteI think i like your quote better! :)

ReplyDeleteAt the end of a long day, I come here....and leave with a smile.

I'm so much nicer if you give me chocolates. Mmmmmm-HMM
ReplyDeleteI agree you should write for Hallmark. I wish I had some of those chocolates right now. Come to think of it, I do. Still have candy left over from Halloween since we don't get kids coming to our door. But we bought the candy anyway for "the kids" LOL I am trying to stay far away from the temptation of chocolate.
ReplyDeleteRobynn..........I have a coffee mug that says it all "Chocolate -- the Fifth Basic Food Group"..has a crazy looking rabbit on it eating all manner or chocolate - it's Shoebox Greetings mug....yup you should write for Hallmark!!
ReplyDeleteAnd by the way - if you want to read a funny blog I just found head on over to "Viking Preparedness" in my blogs sidebar...scroll down to his post called "Sodden Viking" Oct. 20th postings...I laughed so hard holding my shirt up over my mouth trying to keep for being loud while my hubby slept!
Don't you find that the people giving you chocolate are usually people you do love. I rarely find people I can't stand offering my any kind of candy at all. However I did work as a county employee and they have pot lucks and sometimes someone I didn't like would bring in cupcakes....but that is a completley different story.
ReplyDeleteChocolate is one of the world's greatest foods. And i should know since i make a point to eat as much as it as possible! LOL
ReplyDeleteI've been trying to make my way over but... I was in a chocolate induced coma like state!! Ha! You sayeth the truth!
