The Answer to Yesterday's Post Question....
The answer, my friend, ain't blowin' in the wind.....it was on the lips of my children. "Do we HAVE to go to the fireworks? We're having a REALLY good time here with our friends." So, there you go. The answer is, "No." I can't do both. But I'm popular with my kids tonight since I didn't drag them down to the school. I guess that'll do. But I have a rockin' plan for next year. And they're doin' it, dang it!

Hey ... is that a threat? LOL ...
ReplyDeleteWell ... it IS called INDEPENDENCE DAY!?!! LOL
ReplyDeleteI’m Blog Hopping! Hope you have a happy and safe 4th of July weekend.
ReplyDeletePlease stop by Lin's Duck and Wheel With String to vote for me, Lola, in her First Official Dork-Off Contest. Vote for my photo, because my kindergarten photo is THE dorkiest.

Now that's a first!
ReplyDeleteI don't know about your area, but the fireworks up here barely last 25-30 minutes. And when you've seen them once, you've seen them a thousand times! I'm with your kids. :-)
ReplyDeleteLoved your 'Foursh' post (if I sp. that correctly). Hey, if they're teenagers and you're popular with them... those are big strides covered there ....at least I hear.
ReplyDelete:-)
Hope you are well.
Haven't been to fire works in years...can't stay up that late most of the time!!! :0)
ReplyDeleteCheers
When my kids were in thei teens, they didn't want to go either.
ReplyDeleteIt rained here so I didn't go, but my son took his daughter. A promise to a 4 year old is a promise, rain or shine.
Hey girl! Loved your comments this morning on my blog! I did post another after you left. A rather intrigueing story. So your loot came in? Was it all intact?
ReplyDeleteI'm laughing at your 4th post and then the follow up. I'm telling you lady, this stuff is too good for just your blogger friends to read! Maybe there's a magazine or Hey! The Bee (if there still is one next year) that would like a great 4th of July article? The party was great with, as you say, 50-70 of our closest friends!
ReplyDeleteI agree wtih Fruitcake Sandy - It's all about Independence... tee! hee!
ReplyDeleteMy verification word is: Scrooch: the sound your kids will make when you drag them off to do something 'fun' next year! ;-)
