Hi My Caring Friends.........
This is to let you know that my stepdad passed away last night just before 8pm. It was peaceful, he knew us up until the end, and when I asked him if he knew I loved him he squeezed my hand. He was with my mom and other people he loved as he drew his last breath.
Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for your outpouring of love and prayers. Sometime I'll be able to tell you how very much I felt those prayers and how they were answered. For now, I will be helping my mother to move into this new place of her life. There is much to take care of and I will be absent for a bit but will return as soon as I can.

Sorry to hear the sad news. It does sound as though it was a precious time for your family though to be together at the end. I wish you and you mother comfort as you move into the new phase of her life and the adjusting that will be needed at this time.

As a motherless daughter, my thoughts are with you. Take care of you.
Sad, but also a beautiful way to depart for heaven... nice and peaceful. That would be my own dream, unless the Lord comes soon to Rapture His followers and servants. I look for something BIG to happen shortly after Christmas in the USA and also the World. We will prob have a different form of 'money' and things will continue to go South.

This is the part of life that is the hardest to bear: separation because of the loved one passing to the other side, and we must stay here without them until it is our turn. Glad you are there with your mother to help her. My prayers are with you and yours, Robynn.

Robynn, I've been off sight-seeing this weekend and just now got back to blog-world. I'm sorry for your loss! I, too, am facing the aftermath of death. My grandma passed away last night. So we're in preparation mode - getting the laundry done, car serviced, college daughter picked up, etc so we can head back to the Midwest for the funeral later this week.
I'll remember you in my prayers, and your mom too! My thoughts are truly with you at this time!

I remember the deaths of both my Father and Betty's Father. I know how hard it was to help the mothers to move on. I will be praying for you all.
