GoD and DoG

Once in awhile you find something that weaves its way into your heart and you know it will never leave.

A friend sent it to me by email and I've watched it ten times. I'll watch it ten more. And I'll never look at Minky and JoJo, my two beloved dogs, the same way. She put to words and music what I knew as a dog lover. But I would never be able to say it like she does.

Click http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H17edn_RZoY to watch it. There's something wrong with the embedding code or I'd post it here. Run time is less than two minutes.

  4. That made me well up! I love my dogs to much and what a wonderful tribute to them. Here's a joke - have you heard about the agnostic dyslexic? he wasn't sure if there was a dog!

Thanks for such a great link. X

  6. Wow! I love the video! What a talented lady she is!!! Thank you, Robynn!!! You and your friends are SOOO talented...I'm NOT so arrogant as to include myself in the "talented" part...but I am proud to call you my friend!!! Thank you for your extraordinarily lovely words this morning!!!! You made coming back worth every agonizing moment I spent with Blogger this morning... Blogger gave me fits, reversing two of the paragraphs in my post when I tried to load a quote box...and I didn't notice the "blip" until a few hours later...ARGHHH! Glad you could make sense of my post... LOL...But more than that, I'm so glad to have "met " you, my dear friend!!!You are witty, fun, loving, compassionate...and you definitely have a gift for encouraging!!! All my love to you~Janine XO

  7. Watched three times and the tears came every time. I lost my dog a while back so it was extra special to see the video. Thanks for putting the link on Twitter.

  8. I so enjoyed watching this! We have to go pick up our Dakota and I both long to have her back with us and am saddened at having such a small part of her returning to us. This was truly touching :)

  9. Great video! That is how I feel about my two babies. :-) I kind of feel like that about all animals, but especially dogs. They are just so loyal and loving.

I'm sorry to hear Wild Man isn't feeling well. I checked and didn't find any recalls on hot dogs. I hope he is better soon.

  11. Robynn - I'm such a mamby pamby.
I cried when I watched the video!

I hope you don't mind...George and Gracie insisted on posting it on their blog, and since they are doG's, I just had to let them do it!

  12. Hi Robynn......that was a pretty neat music video.
Okay, I think I might be over the frustrations of blog world now. I think my posting will make it into your blog. Since I launched my blog over to it's new domain one of fellow bloggers realized I had a major linkage glich and had several code ideas for wordpress to fix it. My son worked away on it. The link was directing readers from my wordpress.com site to a business site instead of my new WordPress domain site.....UGHH, major UGHH.It semmed intermittent but more so that than not. So much so the tremendous growth rate that my blog had taken in the past month in half plummeted to almost zero and is not picking up...sigh, don't know what will happen..Pray!!!

  13. So Sweet. I have to say it feels pretty true. There really isn't anything like being loved by a dog. (ok maybe being loved by your kids...but it's different)

  15. I sent this to my brother and sister-in-law who have two dogs. It also made me smile and walk to catch the bus with a spring in my step and a tune in my head. I'll watch it again now, so I can get that feeling again. It is wonderful, thanks so much for sharing that with us...
