Biking Leather and Other Good Advice

Okay....you guys are ALL TOO GOOD TO ME!!!! I have received so much love and encourgement about Bo that I can’t boo-hoo another second.

You gave me comfort, commiseration, hope, and even some great advice and offers of more Kleenex. Then there was Lisa. Lisa who just had surgery and is having to take drugs. I like her a lot. I like her drugged up. I told her she should have surgery and drugs more often and give professional counseling. Her advice yesterday was full of wisdom. Today, it was positively inspirational. This is what she said:

……"Oh...I can't wait for you to discover the future!! It is a very beautiful thing!! Until then, start looking for something you and hubby can start doing together! Ever thought of Christian Bikers? I think you would look great in leather! Ok,..its time for me to lay off the narcotics.”

Really, Lisa? You see me as a biker chick? Yeah, I think I’m catchin' the vision.......

  1. Oh my! In a week, when I am off surgical narcotics, I am going to have to write a disclaimer....about the leather part. Then again, yes...I do think you would look great in leather..on a back of a Hog, and heading toward a Christain biking conference! Sturgis or bust baby!
(Ok, my husband just snatched the bottle of Lortab away from me. At first it was fun. Now I think he is concerned).

  8. What a marvellous idea. Head to toe leather and perhaps a rock chick hair cut too? And then smother the hair in a HUGE biker hat. LOL!!!!!!!

  9. Robynn, WHERE did you find that picture of that biker chick? It's priceless. And thanks for the wonderful comment on my blog. You deserve all the support you get, and then some! I am sending you good vibes (does anybody ever say that any more) through the ether to you. Did you feel it?

  19. Robynn, thanks for stopping by my blog! It was good to hear from you. I hesitate to tell you this, but once our daughter left for college that was it. She came home for week-ends and holidays, but as far as living here, nope. As soon as she graduated with her second degree, she was here 1 week while she got herself organized, then moved 3 hours away. To this day,she still lives there with her husband and daughter. Their expecting again in Feb. She was up there 7yrs. before she married and she's been married now 5 yrs.So, just be prepared for your daughter leaving as a young lady, but graduating a compendent woman.

  23. Maybe not a hard core biker chick. You know the ones that wear chaps and a thong. But I could totally see you in leathers on the back of a Fat Boy.

    Where in CA are you.
I'am in the Bay Area. I thought you were in WA
