S O S

Hey Friends - Just a quick note to ask something.....

Is anyone having trouble seeing my background? The center section should look like a dark brown fence and one of my friends said it came up looking white for them. Since my lettering is a shade of beige, that's not good. I'm trying now to determine what the problem is. If you could let me know what you're seeing that would be great. Thanks.

  1. Looks brown and like a fence here at Teterland.

  2. Same here as well. It looks just fine... and I swear I haven't had any cough mixture today.

  3. Yup, looks brown, perhaps a burnt umber, it would make a nice shade of lipstick. Your letters are cream colored.

  4. Mine comes up white first before the background completely loads. Do they have a slower connection? That may be the issue. Or I could just be talkin' out my butt!

  5. It does come up white first on mine then brown. But I have a slow dial up service and some of the blogs do take a while to load that have the different backgrounds.
Yours loaded quite fast, though. Cute too.
    Have a great day.

  6. Timing...it's important!
As I clicked to load your page, tapping my finger in wait, I opened the other tab...and there you had just been at my placE!! Do great minds follow the same rail?
Now I need to go read this post I'm leaving a comment on....or am I? Oh yea...I'm sure I can't leave here without something to say..... :)

  7. I can see you just fine. Like others say, it starts out white until your page loads. Maybe you can edit your background to be another color besides white, that way while waiting they can still read what is showing. If you go to my blog, it starts out pink before the designer background shows up.

  8. I can see everything just fine...it's just takes a few seconds for everything to "load".

    Thanks for the kind words.

Robynn, I'm so glad that I "found" you! I hope that our friendship will last for a lifetime - and may that life be long, healthy, happy, and filled with love!

  10. Okay all....you were a great help. I did change the loading page color to red instead of white and now she can at least read the post. THANKS AGAIN!

  11. I think your background looks great. The middle barn part is more red than brown. I think the color is good. I had no trouble reading it. Really enjoyed your Honest Scrap! Wow! I wish that I could write like that--really I do.
